Lisa Speer 

Lisa Speer is Director at the Arkansas State Archives. She has a B.A. in History from Ouachita Baptist University, a M.A. and a Ph.D. in History from the University of Mississippi, and a M.L.I.S. degree from The University of Alabama. Speer joined the Arkansas State Archives staff in 2013, bringing a cumulative 19 years of experience in the field of archives and libraries from previous positions in Missouri, Alabama, and Mississippi. Most recently, she served as head of Special Collections and Archives at Southeast Missouri State University, a position she held for almost 13 years. Email: lisa.speer@arkansas.gov

 

Darren Bell 

Darren Bell is an Archival Technician in the Microphotography Department of the Arkansas State Archives. He has a B.A. in History from Ouachita Baptist University, and an M.A. in History with an emphasis in Historic Preservation from Southeast Missouri State University.Prior to joining the Arkansas State Archives staff in 2014, he worked in the archives at Southeast Missouri State University as a graduate assistant and later as a member of the staff. Sheila Bevill  

Sheila Bevill is a Librarian at the Arkansas State Archives. She has a B.S.E. and M.L.S. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Prior to her employment at the Arkansas State Archives in 1988, she worked as an elementary school teacher and also as a library technical assistant at UAMS. Email: sheila.bevill@arkansas.gov

 

Julienne Crawford 

Julienne Crawford is a Curator at the Arkansas State Archives. She has a B.S. in Anthropology from James Madison University and attended the Public History graduate program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Crawford also worked as a graduate assistant for the Clinton Presidential Materials Project and served as Program Coordinator for the Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation in Vicksburg prior to joining the Arkansas State Archives staff in 2002. Mary Dunn 

Mary Dunn is the Archival Manager for Technology and Access at the Arkansas State Archives. She received a B.A. in English from Hendrix College, and obtained a M.S. in Library Science from Indiana University at Bloomington. Before joining the staff of the Arkansas State Archives in 2010, Dunn worked in the Special Collections Department, University of Arkansas Libraries, and at the Lilly Library at Indiana University. Erica Eaves 

Erica Eaves is the Archival Assistant at the Northeast Arkansas Regional Archives. She received a B.A in History from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, and obtained a M.A. in History and Archival Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. Jessica Erwin 

Jessica Erwin is an Archival Assistant at the Arkansas State Archives. She received a B.A. in Fine Art from Arkansas Tech University, and obtained a M.A. in Public History from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Before joining the staff of the Arkansas State Archives in 2016, she was a graduate assistant at the UALR Center for Arkansas History and Culture, and an intern at the Historic Arkansas Museum. Joshua P. Fischer 

Joshua P. Fischer is the Archival Assistant at the Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives (SARA), a branch of the Arkansas State Archives. He received a B.A. in History at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, and obtained a M.A. in Public History at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Before joining the staff of the Arkansas State Archives in 2017, he was a student intern and volunteer at the William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site in Hope, Arkansas. April Goff

April Goff is an Administrative Specialist III at the Arkansas State Archives. She attended Arkansas State University, served in the military intelligence field for the U.S. Army, and is pursuing a B.A. in History at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Brian Irby is an Archival Assistant at the Arkansas State Archives. Lauren Jarvis is the Archival Manager for Public Services at the Arkansas State Archives. Meredith McFadden is the Archival Manager at the Northeast Arkansas Regional Archives (NEARA), a branch of the Arkansas State Archives. She has a B.A. in History from Biola University in La Mirada, CA, and a M.S. in Library and Information Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to joining the Arkansas State Archives staff in 2014, McFadden worked at the Clinton Presidential Library, and at the Arkansas State University Archives and Special Collections Department. Danyelle McNeill is the Archival Manager for Outreach at the Arkansas State Archives. Prior to joining the Arkansas State Archives staff in 2014, she served as registrar at the Old State House Museum, and registrar and Exhibitions Coordinator at the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum. Melissa Nesbitt is the Archival Manager at the Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives (SARA), a branch of the Arkansas State Archives. Tatyana Oyinloye is the African American History Coordinator at the Arkansas State Archives. She has an Associate of Applied Science in Business from Pulaski Technical College. Before joining the staff at the Arkansas State Archives in 2005, she worked in the Microfilm and Duplication Laboratory for the Arkansas Vital Records Control. Tim Schultz 

Tim Schultz is the Archival Manager for Imaging and Preservation at the Arkansas State Archives. Prior to joining the Arkansas State Archives staff in 2014, he served as Audio/Visual Coordinator and Photographer for Arkansas Tourism. Crystal Shurley 

Crystal Shurley is Archival Assistant for the Arkansas State Archives. She earned her associate degree from Spokane Falls Community College, and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a B.A. in History. Before joining the Arkansas State Archives, Crystal worked as a librarian’s aide at the Little Rock Air Force base library for two years while earning her bachelor’s degree.
